I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of

your letter No. 58 in 3590/15 of the 22nd. October, 1915, in

regard to the case of Messrs. Frazer and Company of Shanghai. I

can only express to the Colonial Goverment my protest against the

action taken and the withholding, of information requested. The

matter, of course, will be referred to the Government
